Credentials:

  • I’ve complete 164 hours of International Coaching Federation accredited coaching training with Barefoot Coaching

  • I’m completing a Post Graduate Certificate at the University of Chester in Personal and Professional Coaching

  • I’m supported in my coaching practice with regular supervision

  • I’m also a member of the International Coaching Federation.

Past Lives

  • In a past life, I facilitated strategic decision making and alignment in group settings at a C-suite level

  • In a past life, I worked with script writers and producers as a development executive, acting as the primary link between these two creative roles

  • In a past life I was a member of an experimental performance group and took part in their happenings at the Cube Microplex, where I wrote and performed Power Point poetry amongst other things - ask me about it! It was awesome

  • In a past life I ran zine workshops as Feast and Gutless,  introducing people to the beauty of the DIY publication, I also had a poem published in a Glaswegian zine

  • In a past life I ran a fashion blog, creating outfits inspired by NFL uniforms, reviewing cat walks and gushing about bubblegum pink lipsticks (limecrime, worth every penny)

  • In a past life I wrote and produced short films, once making a film out of found footage of numbers including drawing binary all over my face. I didn’t know what it meant then, even less now…!

Values

Courage & Compassion

Collaboration & Connection

Exploration & Experimentation

Autonomy & Adventure

Recently I’ve been thinking about

  • Productivity Wounding: we have been conditioned to believe our worth is in direct correlation to our output - how can we overcome this? How can we decondition?

  • Creating a separation between our true selves and the scripts we run through in our minds - how can I support others to create this distinction?

  • The need for a single creative identity - how to encourage curiosity for multiple disciplines when the world values the specialist above all else? See Ted Talk.

  • How can I support others and myself in dismantling the need to monetise our passions? Capitalism values the creation of monetary wealth above all else, so the ability to create monetary wealth from the thing we love becomes the highest form of achievement. Does it have to be? What if financial gain and creative passion can exist as separate, mutually exclusive parts of an existence? Would the act of creation be truer? Can we make a sacred place for the amateur?

  • Breaking down the internal barriers between an individual or a group that stand between them and greater creativity - how can this be achieved during a global pandemic?

*A Footnote on Credentials - last but certainly not least

As an eclectic person I have an eclectic set of credentials, they all serve me to create a rich coaching practice.
